Reply:go to walmart and buy a mouth gurad
Reply:Buy teeth guards
Reply:There is not a proven way to stop you from grinding your teeth. It usually happens at night, and is usually caused by stress/anxiety. Wearing a night guard is going to help to rid of sensitivity caused by the grinding and will help protect your teeth from breaking/fracturing off. You can try over-the counter ones--heat them up in water and bite into them to fit to your teeth. Or you can go to your dentist and have a custom one made-- a little expensive and insurance doesn't cover but it is well worth the comfort.
Reply:I've been told that grinding your teeth at night is your body's way of reacting to and relieving stress. Stress is everywhere in life. Good stress and bad. People can catch themselves during the day when they clench their teeth but at night I haven't found a way to do that. ( I wear a bite splint every night to protect my teeth and TMJ)
