Nah, same thing is happening with my year old. She apparently found out that she has teeth and she just likes the feeling..Give her about 2 weeks at the most..She will stop...I promise.. If after 2 -3 weeks, she doesn't stop...just make a routine call to the Dr. and just casually mention it . Usually they forget and go on. My daughter has already stopped after 2 weeks of making me get cramps in my neck due to tensing up when she does it. LOL
Take care...
My nine month old has just started grinding her teeth. Is this something I should be concerned about?
Try not to worry it is a little normal she is just getting use to her new sensations going on in her mouth her gums may start to bother her a lot so get her a teething ring
Reply:My son did that too, I took him to my dentist (even that young) and they didn't seem concerned. They said to keep an eye on it, and if he continued to do it as he got older, they could deal with it then (when he is old enough to sleep with a mouth guard).
He outgrew it so we never had to do anything about it.
Reply:it is normal nothing to be worried about
Reply:My daughter did the same thing for a couple of months and then just stopped. Don't worry.
Reply:Im not a doctor but my daughter did the same thing. I think she just discovered them and it was a way of exploring for her...a new sensation. She grew out of it, it didnt last very long.
Reply:No. Teeth are new to babies, they make a neat noise if you do it just right. He/She will stop when they get bored with this new experience.

Reply:My daughter used to do that. She outgrew it...(and she has beautiful teeth)... so don't fret about it, I think they do that to get used to their teeth.
