Ferrets grind their teeth when they have an upset stomach. Possibly the food they're eating is causing indigestion. In a 3 month old ferret, you can give liquid pepto-bismol with a syringe....no more than .5mL twice a day. Just a note....it will make his stool come out tar black, but that's just a color difference....nothing to worry about. :-)
Reply:he needs braces.
Reply:Have your vet look at his teeth.
Reply:Take the ferret to a vet and get it checked out. Rodents grind their teeth when they are in alot of pain. Something hurts and it's not going away. Take it to the vet asap.
Reply:maybe he's teething..and if that's the case u can't do much..it'll be unitl his teeth all come in...
Reply:This is a sign your ferret has an upset stomach. It could be as simple as his food not agreeing with him or as serious as a blockage or ulcer. Take him to the vet.
