mine only covers my front teeth but forces a space between the molars so that they don't meet if i grind my teeth, so it protects all of my teeth. Your dentist could probably make a special one for you if needed- he had to make a mold of my teeth to get the correct fit.

Does anyone know of a night guard for teeth grinding that ONLY covers the molars? Whether a one-pc unit or two
Your best bet would ask your dentist...or someone who works in a dental lab.
Reply:You need one that covers your whole upper row of teeth. You don't just grind your molars. If your griding your molars you are grinding the rest of your teeth also.
Reply:There are several, including custom made and those available in the drug store.
