How much does a "night guard" (for teeth grinding) cost?
If you get them through the dentist they are probably exspensive, if you buy it at the Drug store or where ever they sell them i think they are around $20
Reply:The ones from the drug store can give you lock jaw if the fit is not correct. They are one size fits all. Mine was $400 from the dentist but it fits perfectly and will last 5 - 10 years. The ones from the drug store are softer and do not last that long. Report It

Reply:i dont know
Reply:I don't know how much they are but they can't cost that much. What can be costly however is the stress you are under. It can significantly shorten your life. I suggest your next question should be about how to reduce your level of stress.
Reply:I can tell you the price in Hong Kong.

HK$1650 for a soft one and about $4000 for a hard one.

Try a soft one first - easy to get on with and easy to replace.
Reply:I'm in the US Army. Mine was free. My jaw doesn't hurt anymore. See..there are benefits to being in the military.

Why are we such an unpatriotic country these days?
Reply:Mine is a hard one and cost $400. The ones in the store work but actually makes you "chew" more as they are soft. If you have loose teeth to begin with this one is not a good idea as while you are sleeping I was told by my Doctor's office you tend to chew on the night guard. There are different kinds too.
Reply:ABOUT $6-- You can get one at any grocery store or drugstore-- They resemble a boxers mouthpiece, and are by the dental floss on the toothpaste aisle. :)
Reply:If you go to a dentist it can cost about 200+ dollars. However you can buy it at any local drug store like CVS, Brooks pharmacy, Walgreens. If you buy a mouth guard there it is about 40 dollars more or less.
Reply:Cheapest way out is a mouthguard at a sports store.
