NO!!
Reply:I don't know about absess's, but I do know that when working overseas I cracked one of my teeth something horrible while grinding them. IT still hurts and it has been 2 years since I did it. Dentist (after it had been repaired) said there was nothing wrong though...just sensitive.

Reply:well i have been today to have a wisdom tooth took out all because i grind my teeth and it made a hole in my tooth and i suffered badly with an abscess as i left it for well over a year. you get abscess by ither a cracked tooth or a decay tooth with a hole and also if the dentist has not filled in your tooth right wile doing a filling. the abscess forms in the root of the tooth and spreads along ur nerves and you can have a abscess inside your tooth for over a year or more before you know it is there and spreads to the rest of your mouth, and it not nice even when you have tablet to get rid of it if you need it out, as the abscess stop the anaesthetic from working in part of your gum. i was numb but i could still feel a little pain when i was having it out a little but it was not hurting when they got it out.
