You deserve a long hot bath and a glass of white wine with a trashy magazine of choice!
Reply:DOESNT YOU JOB PROVIDE U WITH SOME SORT OF STOOL OR CHAIR. IT WOULD MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE. THATS NOT A GOOD SIGN. IT COULD LEAD TO HUMPBACK. MAYBE YOU CAN USE SOME SORT OF HIGH CHAIR. ITLL HELP
Reply:Well to start over the counter anti-inflammatories and icing may help. Also you need to have your work station checked ergonomically to make sure your chair height and equipment you are using are correct.

If simple steps don't work then likely a referral to a physiotherapist may help. Try gentle stretching exercises for the neck and get a cervical pillow to sleep on (a memory foam pillow) good luck.
Reply:The muscles in the back of your neck tense up. During work, stop and do this procedure a few times a day. It's an acupressure technique that works for me. It simply relaxes those muscles back there. With your thumb and index finger, grab your eyebrows first on the end next to the nose. Squeeze to a slow count of seven. Then repeat by moving to the center and opposite end of the eyebrow. The muscles will feel good. Do this a couple times a day. To many times may cause a headache. The best way to get rid of the pain you have now, apply ice packs or moist heat, twenty minutes on, twenty off. Apply some aspercreme and take a low doze Motrin, say 600 Mg's twice a day. every 6 to eight hours. I have my Son stretch my neck, not with a rope Ha Ha, but I have him place one of his hands under my chin, the other behind the neck at the base of the skull. Lift gently til stretched, while there, I have him gently move my head from one side to the other, then release back down very slow. Works for me. It may help you. Good luck
