I grind my teeth, sometimes not knowing I am doing it. I wear a retainer at night to stop night grinding. My friend is going to medical clinicals and said she learned that grinding your teeth has an effect on having seizurs. Is that correct? I had a seizure in October of 2007.

I don%26#039;t know the answer to this, but your dentist can answer this question. If you are grinding your teeth alot, the dentist may decide to make you a clear mouthpiece that fits over your teeth and protects them from rubbing against each other when you grind your teeth at night.
