Teeth grinding, has anyone found a solution that works for them?

I%26#039;ve tried a fitted mouth guard, but I hate it. It%26#039;s really uncomfortable and it doesn%26#039;t stop my jaw from grinding at night. What has worked for the rest of you with this problem?

I do the same thing in my sleep at night. My doctor and dentist both say its prolly stress related. Before you go to bed at night, try winding down. Take a relaxing bath, read a good book or do something that takes your mind off your problems. It usually works for me.
Reply:Mine turned out to be stress related. REALLY disliked the mouth guard also, nearly impossible to sleep with. Studied some stress reduction techniques and greatly improved.
Reply:Get the %26quot;Dr. Night Guard%26quot; it%26#039;s sold at longs or drug stores. It%26#039;s a mouth guard that molds to your mouth, and prevent teeth grinding.
Reply:Meditation before bedtime to help you relax and try a better fitting mouth guard. I had to use a mouth guard for about 6 months before I got to the point in my meditation that I could actually stop grinding my teeth in my sleep! I still wake myself up from time to time gringing my teeth, but only after a particularly trying day. I don%26#039;t think I will ever completely break the habit.
Reply:i have no a idea
Reply:loosen up, stop being so uptight
Reply:I have the same problem, i thought i was wierd lol. I will try the mouth guard.
